Case Study
Context: Creative Magnet School of the Performing Arts (CMSPA) is a fictional magnet school within a larger public school system. They are a K-12 system with students from the city where the school is located as well as local suburbs.
Challenge: CMSPA is starting the multi-year process of adopting the Schoolwide Enrichment Model into their school culture. These materials are for the first information session for the stakeholders.
Solution: This session introduces the research and theory behind the Schoolwide Enrichment Model to the stakeholders and engages them in brainstorming and discussion about the model, how it fits with their school culture, and the benefits it can have for students.
Result: The intended outcome is for all stakeholders who attend the first session to have a clearer understanding of what the Schoolwide Enrichment Model is and to begin thinking about how it can benefit their community. This can be measured by a Likert scale included in a post-session feedback form or survey.
